AT THE 28TH EAO CONGRESS


EAO's 28th International Congress, which for the first time in its history was held in Portugal, at the Lisbon Congress Center, took place at the end of September. The outcome was extremely positive and MALO CLINIC had the opportunity to, once again, show everyone its unique DNA. We showed that we have overcome all obstacles and that we continue to be a world reference in terms of Innovation and Research & Development.

The event was attended by renowned international speakers, including several members of the MALO CLINIC team, proof of the recognition they have worldwide. One of the highlights was a presentation by Dr. Carlos Moura Guedes, National Director of the Clinical Staff of MALO CLINIC, António Manuel Silva, Master Laboratory Technician, and Dr. Miguel de Araújo Nobre, Director of our Research & Development and Oral Hygiene Departments, in which they revealed and explored the clinical, laboratory and scientific results of their "The All-on-4® concept with PEEK final rehabilitation with JUVORA ™" study. A presentation followed with high interest by the visitants that filled the room to listen to our specialists.

But there was more! Proof of the know-how, experience and innovative nature for which we continue to be recognized around the world, on the event we also had scientific posters presented by our dentists Dr. Diogo Santos and Dr. Bruno Queridinha about relevant studies developed together with other members of the MALO CLINIC team! And, of course, the MALO CLINIC Education training courses were also highlighted!

Congratulations and a big thank you to all of those who represented us in this Congress and who, once again, took MALO CLINIC’s name to a higher level, showing that together we are definitely Stronger!

A WHOLE FAMILY SMILING
WITH MALO CLINIC

We met Lucrécia when she brought us her son Jovane, who for several years suffered from a dental problem. We realized that she was a special woman, a mother who showed incredible strength fighting to overcome all the adversities life brought her. Touched by her story, we decided to give her and all her family the dental treatments they needed, because someone who shows this strength deserves all our respect and affection. Once again, we showed that we have a multidisciplinary team capable of handling all types of cases, from the simplest to the most complex ones, covering all dentistry specialties.

Recognized for the quality of its training, MALO CLINIC Education was also at the 28th EAO Congress, presenting its courses to all visitor and offering special conditions for those who have enrolled in one of its courses already scheduled until the end of 2019 or for 2020!

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL
CLINICAL RESIDENCE

True to the purpose of building and sharing the knowledge gained throughout years of experience and innovation, MALO CLINIC Education concluded in September another 5-Day Clinical Residency focused on the
MALO CLINIC PROTOCOL, with a special focus on the All-on-4® Zygoma surgical technique. Participants came from the USA, Thailand and Australia and they all had the opportunity to closely follow MALO CLINIC medical teams during surgeries. They were also able to attend practical sessions and lectures about Implantology, Prosthodontics and Implant Maintenance

TRUST is a keyword for us! And that trust is palpable in all the conversations we have been presenting with our illustrious ambassadors, in which they talk about their special relationship with MALO CLINIC. Last month it was Sara Matos, the beautiful young actress who wins our hearts with every role she plays, saying #euconfio ("I Trust") and sharing the reasons why she puts her smile - such an important working tool for her - in our hands. We are proud to hear these words spoken by such distinguished personalities that, like us, passionately embrace their art and with whom we share the same values.

COMMUNICATION
IS ALSO AN ART

September was another month of strong media presence for MALO CLINIC. In addition to mupis, billboards and buses across the country, we were at numerous media with advertisements and interesting editorial content in newspapers and magazines such as Sábado, Visão Saúde, Visão Júnior, Essential, Caras, MAGG, VIP, Courier Internacional, Sporting, Correio da Manhã and The Portugal News, among others.

We highlight an article in Visão Saúde magazine in which Dr. Vera Janeiro talks about dental trauma, clarifies what we should do if a tooth falls or breaks and explains how dentists proceed in such cases.
 


BACK TO SCHOOL
WITH THE MALO KIDS

September is synonymous with returning to school. A special time for children, eager to meet up with classmates, use their new school materials and open their new books. MALO CLINC couldn't help but be side by side with the MALO KIDS at a moment like this, so once again we offered super-colourful and fun school book stickers in this month's edition of magazine Visão Junior, all with the image of our friendly mascot, MAKALO. A perfect companion for this very important stage in children's lives and, at the same time, a perfect way of alerting them to the importance of a good oral hygiene.

NOTEBOOK

We continue focused on clarifying doubts and sharing the results of the innovation we bring into the world of dentistry, through our clinical team and laboratory technicians.

This month, based on the study they presented at the 28th EAO Congress, Dr. Carlos Moura Guedes, Dr. Miguel Nobre and our Master Laboratory Technician António Manuel Silva answer some questions about PEEK, a framework material for prosthetic treatments.
