FEATURED		We continue to earn special attention thanks to our commitment with innovation and development of new techniques! Proof of the notoriety everyone recognizes in us, Dr. Paulo Malo was recently among the guests of Sociedade Civil, a TV program broadcasted by public channel RTP 2, in an edition centered on the evolution of medicine. Throughout the program, Dr. Paulo Malo was able to talk about the innovative nature of MALO CLINIC, about techniques like the revolutionary dynamic 3D navigation system X-Guide and about our disruptive side. With his keen sense of humour and his natural charisma, he recalled how he created and developed the ALL-ON-4® surgical technique, as well as all the challenges,difficulties, barriers and reluctance he had to overcome in order for it to be seen as the revolutionary solution that it really is, and to be finally accepted as being “among the greatest revolutions in dental medicine over the last 60 years”. A real lesson about innovation, entrepreneurship, determination and persistence! There was also time to talk about the importance that MALO CLINIC gives to the training of international doctors and about the interaction and mutual help - often through a kind of "instant remote assistance" – that exists among our 86 clinics spread all over the world. The latest dental clinic working in partnership with MALO CLINIC is located in Manchester, UK. Following all the standards of our brand, it is already a reference in the English market. Our dentists Dr. Tiago Caramelo and Dr. João Botto are part of the clinic's medical team and they play a pivotal role concerning the link with the rest of the international clinical body, whose function is to give their support in the clinical cases of greater complexity. MALO CLINIC dentists are encouraged to deepen their knowledge. Dr. Filipe Melo, who is part of our Prosthodontics Department, led by Dr. Ricardo Almeida, recently completed a specialization module in functional jaws orthopedics in Brazil, at São Paulo's Association of Dental Surgeons Dentistry Faculty. Our incredible teamwork and the perfect articulation between our multidisciplinary specialties will allow the Orthodontics department, headed by Dr. Sandrina Ferreira, to take most of this knowledge and raise it to another levels, so that we keep our place in the forefront of dentistry in terms of knowledge and new techniques.

WE TEACHED
OUR ART AT NYU

Our innovative side continues to be recognized all over the world, with countless invitations for lectures in which we share the knowledge acquired over decades of experience. This time it was the prestigious NYU that, in December, invited Dr. Mariana Nunes, Dr. João Rangel, Dr. Inês Murteira and Dr. Ana Sofia Lopes for a presentation on All-on-4® and the MALO CLINIC Protocol. A rewarding moment for these four
MALO CLINIC dentists, who had the opportunity to teach the basics of the protocol and a bit of its history. Thanks to some material provided by our partner Nobel Biocare, there was even time for a "hands-on" in which students were able to have a direct contact with the protocol.

MALO CLINIC IN THE MEDIA

January was another month in which MALO CLINIC was heavily present in the media. Through interesting editorial content and with our advertising campaigns, it was possible to find us at Correio da Manhã, VIP Online, Nova Gente Online, TV7 Dias Online, Sol online, TV Guia, Turismo de Lisboa magazine, Jornal de Leiria, Diário do Sul, among others. We were also present all over the country with mupis and outdoors.

We highlight an article published by MAGG on Christmas Day, in which our beloved Severino Moreira, "the Colombo Shopping Center Santa Claus", recalls how his life changed thanks to MALO CLINIC.

OF OUR DNA

Sport is health. And a good oral health is crucial to any sporting activity. In addition to that, sport is a vehicle of values that are very much present in MALO CLINIC's DNA. Therefore, we are proud to be partners with sports clubs that make a difference at a regional and a national level. Whether it is the green and white from Sporting CP, the yellow and black from Aveiro's SC Beira-Mar, or the iconic all black kit from Coimbra's Académica, we make a point in wearing the colors of those who walk alongside us to make our partners smile with enthusiasm.

CARING FOR OURSELVES

Krav Maga is an Israeli martial art that is based on personal defense. It includes a range of varied techniques, developed with the aim of increasing the ability to defend ourselves against any attack. Centered on a coherent logic of thought, it uses easy and natural techniques based on the movements of the human body. In addition, it makes those who practice it more confident, boosting their self-esteem.
