It is an honor to have such amazing ambassadors alongside us!


During their journey with us our patients live unforgettable moments, moments that fill us with pride, moments that remain forever in the memory of those who experience them closely.

It was one of those moments that warm our hearts and make us smile that renowned Portuguese actor José Raposo, the new MALO CLINIC brand ambassador, had the opportunity to live alongside us. A great man and a master in the art of acting with whom we are proud to have shared our Art of Creating Smiles!

In a very special edition of Portugal a Sorrir, during a captivating interview by Manuel Luís Goucha at Maria Vitória Theater, José Raposo opened his heart and spoke about the early days of his career, the roles he played and - without embarrassment and with the good mood that everyone recognizes in him - about the oral health problems that affected him still at an early age. The actor then showed the country his new smile: the very characteristic MALO CLINIC smile, harmonious and full of authenticity, happiness, joy, positivity, self-confidence and will to live.

Dr. Paulo Malo was also present on set to explain the surgical procedure, performed with an innovative implant technique, and the laughs were constant among the three, culminating with the burial, with pomp and circumstance, of José Raposo's old removable prosthesis...a hilarious moment in a morning full of laughter!

Each day we are prouder of our ambassadors! Notable individuals who share with MALO CLINIC values such as Trust, Leadership, Integrity, Passion, Generosity and Excellence. Values that differentiate us and that turned us into a worldwide reference!

MALO CLINIC FEATURED AS
A CASE STUDY IN INNOVATION

Research Policy, a scientific journal from renowned publisher Elsévier that covers policy, management and economic studies of science, technology and innovation, part of the Financial Times Top 50 research journals, published an article that has MALO CLINIC as a case study associated with innovation in consumer-oriented services.

The study, conducted by Professor Cátia Miriam Costa and Professor Sandro Mendonça, from Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), highlights MALO CLINIC innovative work on science and technology, as well as our global leadership position not only concerning dental medicine but also in organizational and management skills.

MALO CLINIC is the official partner of A. Académica de Coimbra - "Briosa", as the club is affectionately called - in the field of Dental Medicine and we consider it is our duty to remind our partners of the importance of oral health and a good oral hygiene. With that in mind, MALO CLINIC Coimbra carried out an awareness campaign aimed at the young athletes in the Briosa XXI Academy, paying special attention to the value of oral health in the optimization of sports performance. Fully dressed with the Académica colors, in order to feel the real DNA of "Briosa", our MAKALO was also present!

NEW ADVERTISING
CAMPAIGN BEGINS WITH
ALEXANDRA LENCASTRE

A smile, just like a healthy laugh, is a universal language and delivers a message that everyone understands. Through it, by the voice of the various brand ambassadors, MALO CLINIC intends to show the factors that set her apart, from her unique geographic presence to the many products patented, the surgical techniques developed and the hundreds of thousands of patients already treated and implants already placed.

Alexandra Lencastre was the first of our ambassadors to participate in this new advertising campaign, in a session marked by many smiles and an excellent mood.
 


MALO CLINIC IN THE MEDIA

In November we were once again heavily present in the media. Our commercial tv spot continued to be shown in prime time at SIC and, besides that, we were also with our advertising campaigns and with some interesting articles in newspapers and magazines such as Visão, Sábado, VIP, Caras, TV7 Dias (digital), Nova Gente (digital) Correio da Manhã, Revista E, Courrier International, Jornal Económico, Jornal de Leiria and Portugal News.

We highlight an article published by Essential Lisboa magazine where MALO CLINIC is mentioned as “a successful dentistry case study on a global scale” and where our 100% Portuguese DNA is emphasized. Read it in full.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Present on 6 continents, 22 countries and 66 cities, MALO CLINIC is the dental group with the largest geographical footprint worldwide. And this unique geographical footprint allows us to continue to be noted in different areas. This time it was the successful internationalization of the brand in the southeast Asian market, particularly in Thailand, to be highlighted by AICEP - the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade.
 


A BUSY MONTH AT
MALO CLINIC EDUCATION

November was a busy month at MALO CLINIC Education, with several national and international courses attended by participants from all over the world. The action began on 2 and 3 November with an All-on-4® Surgical Protocol course and continued throughout the month with a 3-day clinical residency course, a practical implant maintenance course, another All-on-4® Surgical Protocol course, a Cadaver Course on the All-on-4® Surgical Protocol - from Standard to Zygoma Cases - and it all ended with one more theoretical-practical course on implant maintenance.

NOTEBOOK

We continue to provide our dentists and oral hygienists a platform for them to share their knowledge through written articles about the different specialties and innovative techniques. This month, Dr. Armando Lopes talks about computer-navigated dental implant surgeries and the revolutionary X-Guide™ navigation system, which he used during the immediate implant surgery with dynamic navigation broadcasted live from the MALO CLINIC headquarters last month as part of the Innovation Day by Nobel Biocare®.

ANOTHER GOLD MEDAL
FOR THE MALO WINES

The quality of the MALO WINES has been recognized once again! The winners of the 5th edition of the Crédito Agrícola Wine Contest were announced and our MALO PLATINUM Tinto Reserva 2012 was one of those awarded with the Gold Medal! The competition took place during the 7th edition of the Wine Market at Campo Pequeno and involved 250 white, red and sparkling wines from different wine regions of the country.

We proved we are also masters at the art of creating a good wine! And that art was highlighted in an article at Jornal Económico in which Paulo Malo talks about another one of his passions: agriculture!
