Christmas at MALO CLINIC is made of team spirit, energy and plenty of animation


The MALO CLINIC Christmas Party was once again a unique and joyful moment. More than a Christmas dinner, it was an opportunity for our staff to meet each other, laugh and relax. And this year everything happened in a very special place. Dr. Paulo Malo opened the doors of his Monte da Charca Resort to make it known to everyone in an evening that lasted until dawn and where the good mood was always present.

Good food, the unmistakable MALO WINES, delicious homemade desserts made with affection by some of our collaborators who showed their side of pastry chefs (to whom we give a special thanks), a lot of presents and many smiles were the keynote of a night where everyone talked and danced, and where there was even time for the best voices of MALO CLINIC to make themselves heard in a lively Karaoke session.

One of the highlights was, of course, the host's speech. Paulo Malo thanked everyone for their presence and highlighted the excellent work done throughout this year and promised an even greater growth in 2019. Then he invited the guests to come back to Monte da Charca Resort - a unique place, perfect for events, scheduled lunches, dinners and nights with rural flavor, a heated pool, fishing, country walks and good wine, all with special discounts for the MALO CLINIC staff. And he promised an even bigger party next year!

Throughout December there were also many other Christmas dinners held by the staff of our various clinics. It's moments like these that make MALO CLINIC a real family and prove that together we are stronger! In this festive season, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year full of smiles!

CLOSING 2018 SPREADING
OUR KNOWLEDGE

In the final months of the year Dr. Paulo Malo continued to travel around the world for several conferences and lectures, faithful to the mission of sharing the knowledge acquired through our extensive clinical and research work. Among other places, he was in the USA, Germany, Italy and China, but we highlight his visit to Brazil, specifically to Curitiba, where he talked about the MALO CLINIC Protocol for about 400 people, and to São Paulo, where he was present on a "round table" discussion with other specialists in the area, in two events promoted by our partner Nobel Biocare.

And then there were 16! We continue to spread the Art of Creating Smiles all over the country and now we have arrived at Alentejo! MALO CLINIC Évora, our 16th clinic in Portuguese territory, opened its doors on December 4, offering all the specialties of Dentistry. Under the baton of clinical director Dr. João Nabais, the clinic has at its service a team of excellence, ready to receive with arms wide open the 50.000 inhabitants of a city that assumes itself as the main urban centre of that region. It is opened Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

MALO CLINIC SIGNATURE
MAKES THE TOP

The article “The NobelGuide All-on-4 Treatment Concept for Rehabilitation of Edentulous Jaws: A Retrospective Report on 7-years Clinical and 5-years Radiographic Outcames” is in the top 20 of the most downloaded articles in 12 months after publication among all the articles published since 2016 by the prestigious magazine of implantology Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research!
Congratulations to Dr. Paulo Malo, Dr. Miguel de Araújo Nobre, Dr. Armando Lopes and Dr. Inês Gravito, co-authors of this article, and to the entire MALO CLINIC team! It's a pleasure for us to share with the world dental community the results of our work!!
 


MORE REASONS TO CELEBRATE

Two of our national clinics celebrated their birthday this month. MALO CLINIC Portimão celebrated its 8th anniversary on December 6, while MALO CLINIC Funchal has blown out six candles on December 20. To mark the occasion, both clinics promoted several special advantages for their patients. We congratulate their respective teams for the success already achieved, and we hope that it will be followed by many more years full of smiles!

Another month in which MALO CLINIC was strongly present in the media. Throughout December, it was possible to find us in newspapers and magazines such as Visão, Diário de Notícias, Courier Internacional, Revista E do Expresso, Revista UP, Essential, MAGG, Observador, Máxima, Diário de Aveiro, Portugal News, Jornal de Leiria ou Diário do Sul with some interesting editorial content and with our new advertising campaign.

We highlight an article in VIP magazine that talks about the concerns we share with our ambassador Garrett McNamara regarding the preservation of the planet and sustainability, a cause to which we will give special attention in 2019. Read it in full.

OF MALO WINES

2018 was also remarkable year for MALO WINES, with our wines earning several prizes and distinctions that attest their unique quality. The most recent recognition came from newspaper Expresso, which in a special section dedicated to the "Best Wines of 2018" highlights the MALO PLATINUM RESERVA TINTO 2012 and writes about the "Success Story" of MALO WINES, a success based on "solid work" and reflected in the "recognition of the market and the dozens of awards that our wines have won in national and international contests."
