MALO CLINIC has always had a didactic and constructive approach towards making a difference in the lives of the little ones. Recently with that goal, MALO CLINIC carried out an educational campaign on Oral Hygiene which took place in the month of May, in several schools from the north to south of Portugal.
MALO CLINIC teams in Guimarães, Oporto, Gaia, Aveiro, Coimbra, Sintra, Cascais, Lisbon, Portimão, and Funchal, had the opportunity to teach the principles of good oral health to over 1200 students between the ages of 6 and 12. This campaign was carried out in partnership with the magazine Visão Júnior of the TIN Group and was supported by Elgydium Kids & Junior.
The closing ceremony of this campaign was held at the Lisbon Book Fair, as a part of the grand finale event of the "Kids Voting" action, an initiative organized by the Visão Júnior and sponsored by MALO CLINIC. Students from about 20 schools, across all over the country, beautifully demonstrated what they did to make their favorite book, the winner. The project crossed all barriers of citizenships and literature; to challenge the students to use the same tools that are used in actual election campaigns.
MAKALO, the friendly Lion, who is the mascot of MALO CLINIC, was present at the awards ceremony. The winners of «Kids Voting: What are the coolest books?» were:"The Shark in the Bathtub", "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and "The Fault in Our Stars".
