An awareness campaign on oral health and hygiene throughout the country
Focused on making a difference with a fun, didactic and constructive approach,
MALO CLINIC carried out an Awareness Campaign on Oral Hygiene and Oral Health throughout the month of May in several schools all over the country.
Under the motto "Prevention is the best solution", the MALO CLINIC teams from Guimarães, Porto, Gaia, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria, Lisboa, Portimão, Vilamoura and Funchal involved in these activities were able to illustrate the principles of a correct oral hygiene, transmit good habits and practices, reinforce knowledge about what care should be taken, highlight the importance of oral health in general health, and teach the best prevention and protection techniques to thousands of students of different ages and to their respective teachers and family members. MAKALO, our friendly mascot, also took part, distributing hugs, spreading joy and sharing smiles with everyone.
This campaign, in partnership with magazine Visão Júnior, had the support of Colgate Portugal. Its conclusion took place at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian as part of the closing ceremony of the "Miúdos a Votos" initiative, in which children elect their favourite books. Oral Hygiene Awareness together with citizenship and literature... because good habits indeed emerge from childhood!An awareness campaign that was once again a huge success and which, of course, we will repeat in May next year because, in oral health, awareness is crucial!
